The focus is consumer socialization involving food & what matters now in their lives. Clients are encouraged tell the Service what is important to them now. The Service provides shopping,social dining - in-home or picnic, cafe lunches, day bus trip once a month, monthly centre-based meal, beach walks, gallery and museum visits, morning & afternoon teas.This is a consumer driven program with consumers encouraged to make and share suggestions, ideas on how they wish to socialize. A meal service is not a requirement to access social support. Cost - bus trip: $20.00 plus buy own lunch. Centre based meal $8.50 includes pick-up and return home, other activities $10.00. Financially disadvantage people are encouraged to make a contribution through Centre-pay or on the day.
