The 2022 and 2023 Residents’ Experience Survey interviewed almost 75,000 people across the country to hear about their experience living in aged care homes. The full report of the Residents’ Experience Survey is now available.
The findings will help aged care providers understand what people like about their home and what could be improved.
Between 2022 and 2023, there were some real improvements in how people viewed their aged care home. In the 2023 survey, 85% of residents said they would recommend their home to someone they know.
The 2024 survey, conducted by an independent survey team, is underway and will be completed by October 2024.
