Common areas description This residence has retained all spaces as contemporary and welcoming. The variety of common areas are shared and secure, offering a diversity of recreation from large gatherings and activity in the function areas, to private conversation or a quiet moment in one of the intimate sitting areas. Further to the many common areas within the residence, Lyndoch Living is home to a number of picturesque spaces for residents and their families to use and enjoy, without the need to travel. Cafe Connect, Lyndoch Living's in-house cafe, offers a vibrant place to meet and connect with others in comfort and style. Coffee lovers will appreciate the freshly ground coffee served by the barista, while others can choose from a variety of specialty teas or refreshing cold drinks to accompany their favourite cake or dessert. All can be enjoyed in the contemporary space found adjacent to the main foyer. Or for a quiet cup of tea between friends or family, the Sunroom is a popular destination among the residents. With panoramic river views and a striking fireplace, the Sunroom hosts a cosy ambiance that can be enjoyed even on a grey winter's day. The Theatre is another great place for residents to come and enjoy a film, televised sports match, or cultural event on the big screen. Characterised by the burgundy drapes and display of classic movie posters, the Theatre creates a space that is easy to access while still creating the excitement of a cinematic atmosphere. While nothing beats a walk along the banks of the Hopkins River, an additional space to enjoy outdoors is the Sensory Garden. This beautifully landscaped garden is intertwined with three dimensional artworks rich in texture, aroma and colour.
