Transport

Getting out and about is an important part of maintaining your independence and well-being. This service helps you get you to medical appointments, community events, and everyday errands like shopping. It may be through a driver service or community bus, or you may receive transport vouchers to cover costs.

This service includes:

  • direct transport - with a car and driver provided
  • indirect transport - taxi or rideshare service vouchers.

This service does not include:

  • general expenses, such as:
    • your licence
    • the running costs of your car
    • public transport costs, or
    • travel for holidays.

How it could help

  • Arranging a driver service
  • Providing transport vouchers
  • Assistance with going shopping, visiting health practitioners, and attending social activities.
