Help at home

If you’re finding it harder to do the things you used to, you may be ready for some help at home. Getting a little help with daily activities means you can stay independent in your own home for longer. In fact, a little support can lead to a much better life.

Short-term care

Whether you need help to improve your wellbeing and independence or to get back on your feet after a temporary setback, short-term care provides aged care and support services for a set period of time.

How do I access these services?

An aged care assessment determines the type of care and services you may be eligible for.

Using our online tool, you can check if you meet the requirements for an assessment before you decide to apply for one.
