What are the key features of the refreshed My Aged Care website?

The website has been redesigned with older people and their families to improve the user experience. It includes new and enhanced tools to help find the different types of support available and provides personalised guidance about what comes next.

Key features include:

  • a new Wayfinder on the homepage that allows you to answer a few questions to find information relevant to your situation
  • a redesigned Find a provider tool with improved provider search and compare functionality
  • enhanced Aged Care Home and Support at Home Fee Estimators
  • an improved Help explorer, designed to help you learn about the care types available and provide pathways to more information
  • new personalisation approach through My Guide to Aged Care, which includes a checklist and dashboard, that means you can pick up where you left off and see information relevant to you.

Information for aged care providers

It’s important that providers regularly review their details with My Aged Care.

When the Aged Care Act 2024 comes into effect, aged care providers must verify and update service and pricing information through the My Aged Care Service and Support portal. This is a critical requirement for transition to Support at Home.

A digital readiness checklist has been created to help providers prepare for the digital and data changes required for the start of the new Aged Care Act from 1 November 2025.
