Craigcare Maylands

For over 40 years, CraigCare Maylands has been part of the Bayswater neighbourhood – a small, friendly home where everyone feels like family. With just 48 rooms, we offer a close community where residents can enjoy their own space or share a companion room with a partner or friend. Life here is relaxed and social, with multiple lounges, sunrooms, and two dining rooms – all light-filled and perfect for connecting with others. In winter, the crackle of our gas log fireplace brings everyone together for good conversation, a glass of wine, and nibbles. From many spots in the home, residents take in stunning views of the Swan River, Belmont Racecourse, Optus Stadium and the Perth city skyline. Whether it’s a garden chat, BBQ with family, or simply soaking up the sun, CraigCare Maylands offers a warm, familiar place where you can truly feel at home.

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing assess the quality of care at all government-funded aged care homes. Based on these assessments, each home receives a Star Rating as a simple way of showing information about the quality of care they provide and how they compare to others. If you pay a refundable accommodation deposit or a refundable accommodation contribution, they may be subject to retention. Any daily accommodation payment you make may also be subject to indexation. Learn more about aged care home costs and fees.

Specialisations with a check mark symbol are verified by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. Each verification lasts for 3 years from the date it was granted. Once it expires, providers can apply again if they want to continue to be recognised for a specific specialisation on the Find a Provider tool.
