Cooinda Aged Care has been a part of the Gympie community since 1965, transitioning ownership to Lutheran Services in 2021. We welcome people of all beliefs, faiths and world views. Set amongst 25 acres of bushland and native wildlife in the heart of Gympie, Cooinda specialises in aged care services focused on wellbeing and an enriched quality of life. Enjoy a range of ensuited accommodation options, including luxurious suites with living, dining and kitchenette areas. Dedicated 24-hour nursing staff and aged care specialists are on hand, with respite care, medication support and allied health services available. Cooinda creates a sense of community for its residents with daily activities including men’s chat groups, ladies morning and afternoon teas, weekly cooking classes, weekly musical concerts, and monthly theme luncheons.
