Lutheran Services - Tabeel

As part of Lutheran Services, Tabeel has grown out of the dreams and hard work of our founding congregations. We welcome people of all beliefs, faiths and world views. For 59 years we have been situated in Laidley, a historic rural village in the Lockyer Valley region of south-east Queensland. While our award winning gardens put on a great show, we deliver more than colour in our care at Tabeel. Sometimes carers need a break. That’s why we’re here, to help you and your loved one get the best care and support. Our aged care services provide a combination of short-term, long-term, planned and emergency residential respite so you can have the comfort of knowing your family member is receiving quality care and support while you are taking time out. Respite care can give families a break from caring for their loved ones while they are on holidays or during difficult times.

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing assess the quality of care at all government-funded aged care homes. Based on these assessments, each home receives a Star Rating as a simple way of showing information about the quality of care they provide and how they compare to others. If you pay a refundable accommodation deposit or a refundable accommodation contribution, they may be subject to retention. Any daily accommodation payment you make may also be subject to indexation. Learn more about aged care home costs and fees.

Specialisations with a check mark symbol are verified by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. Each verification lasts for 3 years from the date it was granted. Once it expires, providers can apply again if they want to continue to be recognised for a specific specialisation on the Find a Provider tool.
