Kensington Park Nursing Home

With rooms overlooking our beautiful gardens and plenty of space to sit and relax, Kensington Park is a place to call home. It's located just minutes from the city of Perth and our care staff are trained to care for residents with challenging behaviours, symptoms of dementia, mental health conditions, palliative care and other medical conditions. For your peace of mind, we provide 24-hour care by Registered Nurses who are supported by a dedicated team of personal carers with advance practice (PCAPs), and personal care assistants. We have the expertise to assist with complex care requirements, and will always discuss your care with you and your family. We offer regular activity programs designed with our residents by allied health staff including physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Some activities promote movement and exercise while others provide entertainment and opportunities to socialise, and include bus trips, concerts, barbeques, gardening and exercise programs.

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing assess the quality of care at all government-funded aged care homes. Based on these assessments, each home receives a Star Rating as a simple way of showing information about the quality of care they provide and how they compare to others. Specialisations with a check mark symbol are verified by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. Each verification lasts for 3 years from the date it was granted. Once it expires, providers can apply again if they want to continue to be recognised for a specific specialisation on the Find a Provider tool.
