Domus Operosa at Burton provides every level of care in a serene setting. Domus Operosa officially opened in 2006 built around a lake and gardens and adjacent to the local wetlands with its diverse birdlife. Mimicking these nesting neighbours, the building itself has eight wings, each consisting of ten single yet generous suites, with an ensuite and access to a secure courtyard. The courtyards feature raised garden beds, which residents can plant and tend exactly as they wish. Each wing also has its own lounge/dining area overlooking the lake and gardens. The modern, spacious surroundings and beautiful open feeling of Domus Operosa, constantly inspires new and innovative ways to enhance the wellbeing of every resident entrusted to our care. Domus Operosa has Lifestyle Officers that provide a wide range of activities and events. The facility also hosts several community based programs, with opportunities for new friendships, whilst pastoral workers
