Craigcare Berwick

At CraigCare Berwick, our welcoming single-level community of 102 private and companion rooms offers choices for privacy, companionship, or staying close to loved ones. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel at home among beautiful gardens, sunny courtyards, raised garden beds and a popular BBQ area - perfect for relaxing, visiting family, and enjoying outdoor activities. For residents living with dementia, our Memory Lane Community provides a calm and secure home-like setting. With only 10 companion rooms, it offers the familiarity, routine, and close relationships that support emotional wellbeing. A dedicated secure courtyard allows residents to safely enjoy the outdoors -gardening, dining al fresco, or simply soaking up the sun. If you enjoy gardening, we can arrange for your very own planter bed to be installed so you continue to enjoy your gardening, just as you’ve always done. You can also enjoy trips to some of our local pubs for some delicious pub grub and a drink.

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing assess the quality of care at all government-funded aged care homes. Based on these assessments, each home receives a Star Rating as a simple way of showing information about the quality of care they provide and how they compare to others. Read more about Star Ratings.

If you pay a refundable accommodation deposit or a refundable accommodation contribution, they may be subject to retention. Any daily accommodation payment you make may also be subject to indexation. Learn more about aged care home costs and fees.

Specialisations with a check mark symbol are verified by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. Each verification lasts for 3 years from the date it was granted. Once it expires, providers can apply again if they want to continue to be recognised for a specific specialisation on the Find a Provider tool.
