St Basil's Aegean Village

Aegean Village at Christie Downs is the largest of our homes and is surrounded by gardens and outdoor areas that welcome residents and families. Aegean Village has 97 rooms and 48 independent living units that support all levels and needs of care. An onsite cafe, large activity rooms, wide open spaces and lovely gardens, create a village-like feel and encourage residents to socialise and connect with each other. The design of Aegean Village has been guided by our ‘living well’ vision; to encourage residents to use all areas of the home; its gardens and cafe, with dignity and supported independence. At Aegean Village our residents can enjoy a lovely light-filled common area that includes a hair salon and gym, internet lounge, an internal garden and the popular Zoi Kafe that can also be used for private family events. Aegean Village also offers expansive outdoor areas that include an edible garden, activities and sitting areas for residents and their loved ones to enjoy.
