Caloundra Place Care Community

Caloundra Place Care Community is well-positioned to enjoy the best that the beautiful Sunshine Coast has to offer. We are well known in the region for our ability to support residents living with complex needs. Our diverse mix of cultural heritage is a point of connection for residents, and our support group for family and friends, The Friendship Circle, is part of the heart of our Care Community. Our care community is a warm and loving place for people from all walks of life. Our team focus on getting to know each resident deeply so that we can meet their unique needs and support the activities and interests they enjoy. Our community partners bring pets to visits and we are one of the few care communities in the area that caters for smokers. It’s an environment where you’re free to enjoy your interests, independently or with others, continue to learn and try new things, and participate in our home life – so you can enjoy your day, your way.

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing assess the quality of care at all government-funded aged care homes. Based on these assessments, each home receives a Star Rating as a simple way of showing information about the quality of care they provide and how they compare to others. Read more about Star Ratings.

If you pay a refundable accommodation deposit or a refundable accommodation contribution, they may be subject to retention. Any daily accommodation payment you make may also be subject to indexation. Learn more about aged care home costs and fees.

Specialisations with a check mark symbol are verified by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. Each verification lasts for 3 years from the date it was granted. Once it expires, providers can apply again if they want to continue to be recognised for a specific specialisation on the Find a Provider tool.
