Villa Maria Catholic Homes St Catherine's Aged Care Residence

St Catherine’s by VMCH is a highly regarded Catholic aged care home located in the City of Boroondara, with many residents from Balwyn and surrounding suburbs. Our community is built on strong Catholic values, offering daily opportunities for spiritual growth and connection through religious services, prayers, and pastoral care. While our Catholic foundation is central to life at St Catherine’s, we warmly welcome residents of all faiths and backgrounds. Nestled in a quiet residential street overlooking parklands, St Catherine’s is peaceful and private. Our nursing home has been lovingly renovated, extended, and refurbished, while honouring the heritage of the original Balwyn homestead, built in 1904. St Catherine’s offers 77 spacious rooms, as well as an additional 18 rooms in our Memory Support Unit (MSU), where we provide specialised dementia care. Our home is fully accredited by the Aged Care Quality Standards, ensuring you receive the highest level of care.
