Garden View Nursing Home

Garden View Aged Care is a family owned residential aged care facility that has operated for 30 years. The home underwent significant refurbishment in 2010 and recently in 2019, and in July 2020 took on a new onsite management team as part of a succession plan. The new team is committed to fostering respectful relationships and rapport with our clients. Adopting a partnership approach, with an understanding and nurturing attitude, the team work to flexibly alter care based on feedback and suggestions. Being a small and family-owned home facilitates this flexible, caring approach. And furthermore, the residents and the family get to communicate directly with those who are responsible and able to make decisions. The team works with the clients, their families, the doctors and the allied health professionals to achieve person-centred care that is tailored to the clinical care needs of our clients, and to creating meaningful activities for our clients.

Specialisations with a check mark symbol are verified by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. Each verification lasts for 3 years from the date it was granted. Once it expires, providers can apply again if they want to continue to be recognised for a specific specialisation on the Find a Provider tool.
