Eldercare Acacia Court

There is a lovely community atmosphere at Acacia Court centred around the large internal garden, with its peaceful duckpond. Residents like catching up with each other or with their visitors in the gardens, or in one of several sitting and lounge areas. There are also large multi-purpose spaces which are used for the various social and recreational activities that residents enjoy. A designated support unit provides special assistance to residents who are living with dementia. All meals are cooked on-site daily by our chef with two courses served for lunch and three courses for dinner each day. There is an on-site gymnasium for residents which features specially designed equipment for building strength, increasing fitness and improving or maintaining mobility. Health professionals visit regularly, including speech pathologists, podiatrists, and dentists. Residents can have their hair done at the on-site hairdresser, with services available twice a week at an additional cost.

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing assess the quality of care at all government-funded aged care homes. Based on these assessments, each home receives a Star Rating as a simple way of showing information about the quality of care they provide and how they compare to others. Read more about Star Ratings.

If you pay a refundable accommodation deposit or a refundable accommodation contribution, they may be subject to retention. Any daily accommodation payment you make may also be subject to indexation. Learn more about aged care home costs and fees.

Specialisations with a check mark symbol are verified by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. Each verification lasts for 3 years from the date it was granted. Once it expires, providers can apply again if they want to continue to be recognised for a specific specialisation on the Find a Provider tool.
