MiCare is an industry leader in Aged Care and continues to make significant contribution to all older Australians. At MiCare, we embrace the Eden philosophy, meaning that we aim to improve the wellbeing of the Elders by transforming the communities in which they live by fighting the three plagues of loneliness, boredom and helplessness. Elders are encouraged to make their own decisions to be involved in daily activities such as home and garden care, looking after pets or joining the many activities within our home and community. Avondrust Lodge is a luxurious state of the art home located in Carrum Downs with easy access to cosmopolitan Dandenong and the gateway to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Our home consist of smaller households with 12 Elders. All Elders have a private room with ensuite bathroom. We can accommodate couples through rooms with adjoining doors. We take pride in building relationships with our Elders and achieve this by maximising staff continuity.
