Belmont Community Nursing Home

Belmont is a family-oriented home. We welcome loved ones to visit at any time and become involved through regular meetings and activities with relatives, or by talking with our Director of Nursing at any time. Our home is bright and spacious and includes activity areas and quiet rooms where visitors can enjoy a chat and a cup of tea, and well-kept outdoor areas and gardens to enjoy warm, sunny days. For your peace of mind, we provide 24-hour care by Registered Nurses who are supported by a dedicated team of nurses and personal carers. We have the expertise to assist with complex care requirements, and will always discuss your care with you and your family. We have an internal courtyard with a shade sail and we also have garden areas with tables and chairs, located in several areas along the Cleaver Street side of the home. Residents are welcome to water the gardens or just sit and enjoy being outside.

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing assess the quality of care at all government-funded aged care homes. Based on these assessments, each home receives a Star Rating as a simple way of showing information about the quality of care they provide and how they compare to others. Specialisations with a check mark symbol are verified by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. Each verification lasts for 3 years from the date it was granted. Once it expires, providers can apply again if they want to continue to be recognised for a specific specialisation on the Find a Provider tool.
