Mecwacare Ballan Aged Care Facility

Located within the picturesque township of Ballan on the banks of the Werribee River, this centrally located 31-bed hostel offers a person-centred approach to aged care. A supported living environment assists residents to maintain an active and rewarding lifestyle. All single rooms have large ensuite bathrooms and built-in robes. Within the home, residents have access to a large day room that includes lounge and dining areas. Residents also have access to lovely gardens. There is a strong focus on resident wellbeing, with many activities and outings organised with the residents’ input and designed to cater for individual needs and interests. Ballan Hostel is an hour’s drive from Melbourne and 30 minutes from Ballarat. Its central location is 700 metres from Ballan Railway Station and a short stroll from the main street with its gorgeous cafes, shops and library. There is also on-site access to general practitioners, allied health services, a swimming pool and gym.
