Wintringham Tom Fitzgerald

Situated at 55 Wyndham Street, Shepparton, the Tom Fitzgerald residential aged care is a uniquely small village like home that accommodates and cares for 20 people aged 50 and over, who are experiencing or vulnerable to homelessness or are financially disadvantaged. After more than 30 years of service in metropolitan Melbourne, this is Wintringham’s first residential aged care home to offer such specialised services in regional Victoria. The home offers predominantly low care with some higher care capacity to enable residents to age in place. It will also be part of the wider Wintringham network, which will facilitate access to a broader range of specialist care services. Please contact our Intake and Service Information team to get all the basic information about our accommodation options, including vacancies: 03 9034 4824 or intake@wintringham.org.au www.wintringham.org.au/view/3685

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing assess the quality of care at all government-funded aged care homes. Based on these assessments, each home receives a Star Rating as a simple way of showing information about the quality of care they provide and how they compare to others. Specialisations with a check mark symbol are verified by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. Each verification lasts for 3 years from the date it was granted. Once it expires, providers can apply again if they want to continue to be recognised for a specific specialisation on the Find a Provider tool.
