Craigcare Plumpton Villa

TSet within a beautifully restored, heritage-listed building, CraigCare’s Plumpton Villa is deeply woven into the fabric of the local community, often stirring fond memories in residents who say it reminds them of their own family homes and childhood days growing up in Melbourne. Inside, 126 private rooms with ensuites are designed to feel welcoming and comfortable – with plenty of spaces for intimate family catch-ups. Step outside into one of our five beautifully landscaped gardens, with leafy green spaces, shaded seating, and direct access to GE Clarke Reserve. For those living with dementia, our boutique 18-room Memory Support area, Homestead, offers a safe, calming and deeply supportive environment. Its smaller size ensures every resident receives highly personalised care, familiar faces, and meaningful continuity. Secure courtyards allow residents to enjoy the outdoors in comfort and safety.

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing assess the quality of care at all government-funded aged care homes. Based on these assessments, each home receives a Star Rating as a simple way of showing information about the quality of care they provide and how they compare to others. Specialisations with a check mark symbol are verified by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. Each verification lasts for 3 years from the date it was granted. Once it expires, providers can apply again if they want to continue to be recognised for a specific specialisation on the Find a Provider tool.
