Grutzner House

Grutzner House is an accredited psychogeriatric nursing home, providing care for residents with specialised mental health issues or complex challenging behaviour. The facility is equipped to provide care for up to 20 residents and is staffed around the clock by a dedicated team of nurses. An Associate Nurse Unit Manager on duty at all times. The service is overseen by a consultant psychiatrist as well as a team of psychiatric doctors and a dedicated team of General Practitioners (GPs) who provide in home visits with our residents. Allied health staff are available upon referral and also visit regularly. The model of care at Grutzner House focuses on providing individualised, person-centered care in a home-like atmosphere. We seek to accommodate and optimise the independence of individuals while also enabling the freedom for residents to enjoy community activities.
