Opened in October 2013, Pathways Sailors Bay is a 122-bed aged care residence in the historic Sydney suburb of Northbridge. Pathways Sailors Bay offers a level of sophistication and quality not yet seen in aged care, with beautifully detailed interiors from designers TSD, custom artwork by photographer Cole Bennetts and feature gardens by renowned landscape architect Brendan Moar. The home includes features such as single rooms with oversized ensuites, flat-screen TVs with in-room entertainment, lounge and sitting rooms, landscaped gardens and courtyards, an onsite café for residents and their guests, a beauty spa and hair salon, in-house private cinema, 24/7 Registered Nurses onsite, physiotherapy and much more. All information on this page - excluding Star Ratings, verified specialisations and Residents' Experience - is entered and maintained by Pathways Sailors Bay, who is responsible for ensuring the information is accurate, complete and up to date.

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing assess the quality of care at all government-funded aged care homes. Based on these assessments, each home receives a Star Rating as a simple way of showing information about the quality of care they provide and how they compare to others. Read more about Star Ratings.

If you pay a refundable accommodation deposit or a refundable accommodation contribution, they may be subject to retention. Any daily accommodation payment you make may also be subject to indexation. Learn more about aged care home costs and fees.

Specialisations with a check mark symbol are verified by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. Each verification lasts for 3 years from the date it was granted. Once it expires, providers can apply again if they want to continue to be recognised for a specific specialisation on the Find a Provider tool.
