The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is hosting a free webinar about required and optional services provided in residential aged care.
The webinar is for older people, their families and carers. It will take place on Wednesday 17 June 2026 and will give information about:
- the care and types of services you can expect in residential aged care
- the premium services that your aged care home may offer you
- the Residential Care Service List and higher everyday living fee
- the differences between required services and optional services in aged care homes.
