The Kalkee Community Club is a centre and outing based social support program. The Centre offers a range of dynamic social connection programs aimed at reducing isolation, promoting wellbeing, and assisting older people to make friends and engage with their community. Our flexible social connection programs include: centre-based activities, community outings, home visits, transport to shopping and appointments all delivered by trained lifestyle staff. A flexible range of carer support programs is also offered including: day respite for care recipients, carer groups, outings, retreats and short breaks. The care programs focus on independence and choice, allowing carer connection with their passions and interests, and also providing time out from caring roles.
