Social and Medical Transport (Noarlunga Volunteer Transport Service)
This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
City of Onkaparinga Social and Medical Transport (NVTS) is funded by the CHSP program for the delivery of services in the City of Onkaparinga. A flexible, efficient, tailored personalised door to door transport, ensuring a safe journey and return trip home is provided by volunteers for "Older People" aged 65 years and over and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 50 and over with functional limitations/manageable levels of support. We provide transport for older people and their unpaid carers. A comprehensive, coordinated and integrated range of transport support, enabling them to be more independent at home and in the community, thereby enhancing their quality of life and preventing or delaying their premature or inappropriate admission to long term residential care.
