Rooms 1-21 of these single occupancy rooms are part of the original establishment, having been constructed during the mid-1980s. Single Occupancy Rooms 22-27 were developed in 1995 as part of an extension to the Main Wing. Each room is designed to maximise the individual Residents independence and privacy whilst providing a safe and secure space for the resident to age-in-place. For this reason each room has: - Electronic Hi-Lo Beds - Wheel chair access - Connecting private ensuites - Nurse Call alarms - Weight sensitive pressure mats are utilised as required as a fall risk strategy. - Secure Access To create a homely environment each room features: - television outlets and wall brackets - telephone outlets - Floor Heating throughout - Individual Air-conditioning All rooms look out onto established gardens and/or courtyards

This 8 bed secured dementia unit contains modern single occupancy rooms developed in 2004. Each room is designed to maximise the individual Residents independence and privacy whilst providing a safe and secure space to meet Residents dementia specific requirements.
