This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
Doncare Social Support Program for Seniors provides volunteer supported social activities which are very much enjoyed by clients. Volunteers provide transport door to door transport to and from a wide range of activities including lunch outings, walking groups; a centre based activity group; movie group and long day minibus outings to beautiful places around Melbourne. Our long-running Chinese Walking Group provides culturally appropriate social outings and is supported by Mandarin and Cantonese speaking volunteers. Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) subsidised client contribution is $8 per activity and $12 for long day minibus outings. Support at Home and private clients may be charged full cost recovery rates.
