Lawn Mowing City of Parramatta
This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
Independence is critical to having the good things in life. Council’s Community Assist Lawn Mowing Program offers the freedom to choose and change between pre-approved and pre-screened contractors. You make the decisions on when to have your lawns mowed and by whom. We offer lawn mowing and basic minor gardening, which focusses on you still being in charge and making the decisions in your own life. The service is available for frail older people aged 65 years and over or 50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, via a My Aged Care referral. Customers need to pay the difference between the quoted cost and the subsidy on the day direct to contractors. The subsidy is $300 per financial year, broken down into 10x$30 subsidies. Subsidies do not accumulate and are not redeemable for cash. The address must be the recipient’s Primary Address at the time of each service. These are basic services primarily for function and safety rather than for aesthetic effect.
