This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
Respite care services provided in the home: Traditional RESPITE SERVICE that gives the client’s carer a break from their caring duties. The Monash care worker and the client then engage in meaningful activities of the client’s choice. This can be taken in 1x4 hour session or taken in 2x 2 hour services. This allows enough time for the client’s carer to complete errands, have time out for a coffee and chat with friends or head out to appointments or to the shops, or simply have a walk in the park. RESPITE INDIVIDUAL SERVICE is offered when the client lives alone and has a carer that lives in a different house to the client. The Monash care worker can visit, and follow a pre-assessed care plan of client likes and dislikes, and engage in meaningful activities for up to four hours. Activities that the client and care worker could do together include walking in the garden or completing jigsaws or looking through books together. “Service provided within the City of Monash LGA"
