Inverell Community Transport
This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
Our Community Transport Service provides door-to-door transport services for residents of the Inverell Shire that are transport disadvantaged. We have a range of cars and small buses that provide transport services to people that need to attend appointments, access the shops or visit friends or family. Bookings are essential and we ask that if you need to travel to the larger centres of Armidale and Tamworth that appointments are booked between 10am - 2pm, Mon to Fri. Transport services can be a one-off service or booked regularly depending on need. Our small Community Access Bus runs every Mon-Wed-Fri between 9am - Noon across the Inverell township. Regular bookings are welcome on this service, but please only buy what you can carry home due to limited storage space. If you'd like to join one of our social bus outings, then we have a range of options for you from regular weekly lunch buses, to excursions to interesting venues across the New England every month.
