Assist Building Maintenance (Modifications)
This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
Assist Building provides modifications to the home environments for older people, and people living with a disability, to ensure their environments are safe and are able to support them remaining in their home. Our emphasis is on ensuring and maintaining people’s independence. This service requires an Occupational Therapist assessment for recommendations to your home to access services under the Commonwealth Home Support Program. Modifications can include but are not limited to bathroom and toilet grab rails, hand held showers; bathroom re-modelling, ramps and paths for access, rails to front and back entries for safety and improved mobility, wheelchair accessible showers, lever taps, widening doorways, re-modelling kitchens for safety & access, adjusting bench heights, stairlifts, etc. Eligibility criteria apply, a subsidised fee for work applies for eligible clients. Referrals can be accepted for fee for service clients.
