Newtown Neighbourhood Centre's Individual Social Support service provides approximately two hours a week of 1:1 support from a volunteer in the form of home visiting, phone/web chat, and accompanied outings such as shopping, walks, and coffee. The focus of the service is to support individuals to remain independent and connected to their community, as well as providing meaningful social connection.
