Casey City Council
This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
The City of Casey offers subsidised transport for eligible residents living at home, providing trips to medical and essential appointments when no other travel options are available. It is not a voucher system - you will be driven by a volunteer who stays nearby during your appointment.
The service runs Monday to Friday.
Volunteers use their own vehicles and are supported by qualified staff. They will pick you up from home, drop you at the nearest entrance, wait nearby, and take you home afterwards.
We cannot transport clients needing intravenous therapy, oxygen, or medical monitoring.
Service dogs may be allowed, depending on volunteer comfort and availability.
Eligible residents can access up to two return trips per month, with extra trips possible for specific needs (e.g. dialysis).
Trips can also include visits to a spouse in care, cemeteries, or legal appointments.
A client contribution is charged per kilometre and invoiced monthly.
