Gracie Dixon activities program operates Monday to Friday 9am - 3.00pm. At Bargara we offer a group session each Thursday between 9.30am - 1.30pm. Helping people stay active, involved and doing as much for themselves as possible is proven to help people stay more independent with a greater sense of well-being.
Morning tea and a two course lunch is provided to all clients. Transport can be arranged within the Bundaberg area. A hairdresser is on site Monday - Wednesday for those wishing to be pampered. The centre is happy to loan equipment to clients prior to purchasing and we also have a resourceful library of books and DVD's.
Programs are tailored for those suffering from Alzheimer's Disease and the centre has run information sessions at the Dementia Cafe as the need arises.
ALL CLIENTS REFERRED TO SOCIAL SUPPORT GROUP WILL ALSO REQUIRE A SEPARATE REFERRAL FOR TRANSPORT AND MEALS.
