Cultural Wellbeing Connection Group
This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
IPC Health provides cultural connection and health education to Aboriginal and Torrs Strait Islander peoples at “the Lounge”. The lounge is a safe space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait peoples to find and connect to community and seek health support. Activities vary but may include cultural arts and crafts and sharing of cultural knowledge. The group supports clients’ sense of belonging and social inclusion. IPC Health supports Elders together to yarn and have a healthy meal. The program has been running for over 10 years fostering strong social support and connections in our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
