Community Podiatry Service - North West

The Community Podiatry Service - North West provides time limited, low intensity podiatry services for clients at community health centres in Devonport, Burnie, Smithton, Queenstown and King Island. The service aims to provide short term podiatry treatment, client education and referral pathways to alternative long-term podiatry services if required. A major emphasis is the self-management of chronic conditions which aims to provide strategies to empower clients to self-manage. This service is provided by a visiting podiatrist under the governance of the Tasmanian Health Service Podiatry department. Access to this service is only via the My Aged Care portal for CHSP eligible clients. This is a clinic-based service with no home visits available.
