Wisteria is a private and safe area at Bargara specially designed for dementia sufferers who may have wandering tendencies. Movement is encouraged, giving residents freedom throughout their private suites, communal lounges, dining areas and dedicated gardens. Dementia can take many different forms, and our specialist team of dementia trained experts understand how to support and focus on what people can do, rather than what they can’t, through empowerment, socialisation and interaction. Our private suites are appointed with walk-in robe, wall mounted television, refrigerator, direct dial telephone (call charges apply), individually controlled air conditioning, 24 hr call bell system, and private access to outdoors allowing fresh air to circulate. The latest European designed and manufactured fully electric bed allows residents and carers to alleviate pressure areas at the push of a button.

Service costs

Aged care homes are required to provide care and services as outlined in the Aged Care Service List within the Aged Care Rule. This includes help with everyday living tasks, as well as clinical and non-clinical care. These services are paid for or supplemented in different ways. Support for your daily living

Support for your daily living is paid by your basic daily fee and the government hotelling supplement. Depending on your financial circumstances, you may pay some or all of the hotelling supplement as a hotelling contribution. Estimate what you'll need to pay.
