Waratah is a not-for profit, community based organisation that has been providing support to the Coffs Coast region for over 30 years. At our centre, we understand the challenges faced by individuals with dementia and their families. Our dedicated program is designed to provide a supportive environment that promotes cognitive engagement, social interaction, and emotional well-being. Each individual receives tailored personalised care plan focusing on individual needs, preferences and abilities; activities that stimulate memory and cognitive function including art therapy, music sessions, memory games and gentle physical exercise, fostering both mental and physical well-being. Our program further promotes socialisation among participants, allowing them to build friendships and share experiences in a safe and inclusive environment. Our centre is designed with the safety and comfort of our participants in mind, featuring secure spaces for activities and relaxation.
