Community Health - Maroochydore
This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
Community Health Physiotherapists develop home based therapy programs for people with reduced levels of function especially around mobility, strength and balance often as a result of acute and/or chronic illness with the aim to restore function and independence. Advice regarding ongoing management of chronic illness affecting physical health for example neuromuscular, cardiac and respiratory disease can also be provided. Mobility equipment including wheeled walking aids and wheelchairs can be prescribed for clients through MASS. Exclusions include conditions requiring hands on therapy.
