Sydney Local Health District offers Physiotherapy in the home that restores improves or maintains a frail, older person’s health, wellbeing and independence. Those eligible are a frail, older person who: • Is aged 65 years and over (or 50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples) • Lives in the community and requires maintenance or preventative physiotherapy (of an ongoing or episodic nature, and provided at a low intensity or frequency, with a maintenance/preventative focus), and/or restorative physiotherapy (focuses on clients who can make a functional gain after a setback with the goal to increase their independence)
