This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program and Support at Home program.

Respite is offered for the carer, so they can take a break from their caring role while having the confidence that the person they care for (the client) is supported by trained staff. Working together with carer and client, respite is designed so that it best meets both the carer’s needs and the needs of the client. Services to the client focus on activities that are designed around the client’s interests and abilities and may also include assisting with other support such as personal care and household tasks. Respite can be provided to the client: • In the carers or client’s home - Flexible Respite • Through supporting the client with one-on-one structured activities in the community - Flexible Respite • In group respite programs at a Resthaven community centre or cottage (full or half day available with meal and transport options) – Centre Based Respite. Staff are trained in supporting older people and people living with dementia.
