IRT Assistance with Care and Housing
This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
CHSP Hoarding and Squalor services may be available for individuals experiencing symptoms of hoarding disorder or who are living in severe domestic squalor. Availability is limited and subject to capacity.
Eligible older people include individuals on a low income, who are living with hoarding behaviour or in squalid conditions, and are at risk of homelessness.
The delivery of hoarding and squalor services may include:
• linking clients to specialist support services.
• developing a client plan.
• coordinating one-off clean-ups.
• review and follow-up.
CHSP Hoarding and Squalor services may link individuals with other relevant support services including health, aged care, community and local care finders.
