Each bedroom has a large window/sliding door-2.7mtrs x 2.03mtrs-combination that opens onto a large covered verandah. Each room has a view of the surrounding countryside or township. Each bedroom has vinyl floor covering, fire retardant curtaining, a king single bed with linen, a bedside table, built in wardrobes with drawers, a wall mounted colour television, reverse cycle air conditioning and an easy chair. A picture rail surrounds the room allowing residents to hang memorabilia around the walls. The large ensuite has safety standard vinyl on the floors and walls, has a handheld shower fixture, safety rails in the shower and beside the toilet. There is a large handbasin and a mirrored cabinet above the sink. Each room is equipped with a nurse's emergency call system, state of the art sprinkler/fire detection system and a security system. As each room becomes vacant, the rooms are repainted.

There are many factors that influence occupancy rates at an aged care home. This includes the number of places available at the home, renovation, and staff availability, among others. Occupancy rates alone do not reflect the likely availability of care or the quality of care at a home.
