Rushworth Community House
This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
The Rushworth Community Transport Service provides transportation to medical appointments, essential shopping and to visit family in care settings. We pick up from Rushworth & surrounding communities and travel to Bendigo, Echuca, Kyabram, Shepparton & everywhere in-between. Services are for people who are affected by isolation, have mobility problems, lack access to public transport, do not hold a valid driver's license, or are on a low income. Clients must be able to independently transition into and out of vehicles as our volunteer drivers are not trained to physically support clients. Drivers can assist with storing light items such as walkers and shopping. Please note a client contribution is required per trip; Shepparton & Echuca $25, Bendigo $30, Kyabram, Tatura, Murchison $15. Transport is available to Melbourne, though a higher client contribution of $80 is required. These contributions support us to continue supporting our community. Call Craig on 5856 1295 to book transport.
