SMRC ACVVS (Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme)
This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
CVS is a free service which organises community visitors to regularly visit and support older, isolated culturally and linguistically diverse people who would benefit from friendship and companionship. SMRC CVS is available to people living in the southern metropolitan region of Melbourne. To be eligible for a small group visit, clients must be living in a commonwealth funded aged care facility. The Community Visitors Scheme is a national program funded by the Australian Government.
