Merri-Bek City Council Community Transport
This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
Transport is provided via modified small buses that can accommodate people who use walking aids and wheelchairs. It is suitable for residents who have difficulty using public transport (note the service is unaccompanied). Transport to the following shopping centres: Airport West, Broadmeadows, Coburg, Barkly Square, West St Glenroy and Preston Market. Also to senior citizen clubs, swimming pool /leisure centres, exercise and rehabilitation programs, health care and medical appointments, visiting friends and family members. Other transport requests will be considered. Service operates 8:45AM- 4:30PM Monday to Friday and not on Public holidays. CHSP client fees $3:05 each way for all shopping and other trips within Merri-bek and $5.90 each way for trips outside municipality.
