This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
Venue: Herb Greedy Hall, 79 Petersham Rd, Marrickville NSW 2204 (1) Arabic Speaking Group: 9.00am - 2.00pm: 2nd Wednesday - Group activities at the hall 8.30am - 3.30pm: 1st Wednesday + 3rd & 4th Thursdays outdoor activities at outings. (2) Vietnamese Speaking Group: 9.00am - 2.00pm: every Friday - Group activities at the hall 8.30am-3.30pm: 3rd Monday - outdoor activities on outings Group activities include multicultural cooking demonstration on occasions -> Gentle exercises – Tai Chi, or/and dancing ->Fun games: stretch the brain - bingo, cards, dominoes & more. ->Guest speakers based on clients’ needs ->Information, advocate and referrals to assist clients living independently in their home and the community ->Cultural celebrations/events ->Arts & Crafts Morning tea & a healthy cooked lunch provided with a fee of $5.00/client/day Door-to-door transport on request for clients in Marrickville and Canterbury LGAs with a small fee of $5/one way or $8/return trip
