Australian Multicultural Community Services - Social Support Individual
This provider offers services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.
AMCS supports seniors living at home to make and maintain social friendships and connectedness. We specialise in culturally appropriate services and encourage seniors to stay active. Our Social support individual program is DELIVERED BY VOLUNTEERS to provide companionship and social support at home, and in the community. Regular visits decrease social isolation, create new friendships and increase a feeling of independence among our clients. Services are free of charge and depend on volunteer availability, language and other preferences.
The health and safety of clients remain our first priority. Please be assured that AMCS is fully informed of the COVID-19 vaccination mandate for home care providers. We are taking every measure to ensure compliance for the safety and wellbeing of our community as we continue our mission of improving lives through care, support and empowerment.
